Mill Pond Springs Development is back on track.

If you haven't had a chance to dive Springboard yet, now is the time to do it. Springboard, one of the main springs in Spring Creek, is one of the most beautiful caves in the Marianna, FL area. Spring Creek is adjacent to the Mill Pond Springs Development, a gated community tucked among live oak and magnolia trees, mixed with gentle rolling hills. The pristine beauty of Mill Pond Springs follows crystal clear Spring Creek, a second magnitute spring with a common pavilion and picnic grounds. Visit the Mill Pond Springs Development website for more information.

Local Cave Conditions

Jackson Blue

The flow at Jackson Blue has been dropping since the rains we had over the spring. Visibility is back up in the 100' + range. Water temperature is 68 degrees, as always. We will update this report if anything changes.

Hole in the Wall

Hole in the Wall has been divable all winter long. Visibility in both tunnels has been in the 20-40' range. Hole in the Wall can be hit or miss because of water intrusion from the pond. The water temperature can even fall into the 50s. Right now you can expect to find 68 degree water downstream and 66 degrees upstream.

Twin Cave

Twin has experienced some of the best conditions recently. Visibility has been in the 50' + range. Water temperature is also 68 degrees with little flow as well.

A quick disclaimer: Conditions are from personal observation and as reported by divers visiting the caves. Conditions can change from day to day. The conditions we report may not necessarily be the conditions you find.
